Going natural while living with Sickle Cell Anemia

Going natural while living with Sickle Cell Anemia! I actually spent a week in hospital due to my illness. I call myself Googling to see if I could find any information about other naturals living with my disease! I had no luck. I can't tell you how I miss caring for hair! So can't wait to wash my hair, deep condition and all that good stuff. I know my hair shredded a lot and I'm so in need of a good trim!

Is it for me?

Natural?
Is going natural for me? After thinking about it for some months now, I'm ready to do the journey! I know its going be rough one! But I'm ready to make these transition! I use to get my hair pressed when I was young, I so miss them days! Why did I ever beg for perm once I hit h.s? Now to tempt it at older age and to learn how to care for my hair! That's what scare me the most to be honest! But I know at same time,  living with Sickle cell can't be no worse then going natural! So I'm ready to learn and to do this!

Introduction

Actually new at blogger, but not new at blogging. I have been blogging for a few years over at word press about many different things such as my illness with Sickle cell, and my Spiritual walk with God,and love and etc. I'm thinking about going on my natural hair journey and have come across many lovely ladies who have done it/ are or doing it and its kinda hard to comment with using my wp name and getting kick out the site because its not recognizing me, so I decided maybe I can try to do them both for awhile and see how it goes. I don't know how often I'll post over here, since I'm a full time student as well. But I do hope to share some insight of my life and journey. The name does speak for itself. I hope to learn a lot on hair journey as well as I continue to learn more on Who God Created me to be.
